The Himalaia Soldeu is a traditional chalet style hotel located 500 metres from the centre of Soldeu and two kilometres from the Gran Valira ski area. The 106 guestrooms are decorated in Tibetan style with patterned fabrics, wood furnishing and open to balconies and ensuite bathrooms. In room amenities include satellite television, direct dial phones, clock radios, hair dryers, and refrigerators.
Guests can work up a sweat in the fully equipped fitness room, enjoy a game of billiards in the games room or relax in the sauna, steam room and massage room. The hotel houses a bar, and after a day on the slopes guests can warm themselves in front of the fire in the hotel lobby. Those arriving by car will find pay garage parking on site, and practical amenities include a 24 hour front desk and ski storage facilities. The vast Gran Valira ski area is two kilometres away and boasts 192 kilometres of pistes with 108 runs of varying degrees of difficulty. Barcelona Airport is 220 kilometres away and takes approximately three hours to reach by car.
Gala Dinners:
The hotel will host gala dinners on December 24 and December 31, 2007. All guests will be charged for the dinners whether or not they attend. Fees for the dinners will be collected by the hotel at check in.

A regular shuttle bus service is available from between terminals A and B to Andorra (booking compulsory). Alternatively, the airport train station is a short walk from the terminals and taxis are available in front of the airport terminals.
Driving directions: From the airport, head north and continue ahead to Cady Tunnel. Cross Barcelona, Terrassa, Berga, La Seu d'Urgell and arrive in Andorra.
