The Hotel Austria is a modern property located 500 metres from the centre of Soldeu. The 62 rooms are spread across six floors and decorated in with patterned fabrics and darl wood furnishings. In room amenities include satellite televisions and telephones and all accommodation provides ensuite bathrooms.
Guests can start the day with a buffet breakfast in the hotel's breakfast room, and enjoy drinks and snacks in the caf�. The hotel also houses a restaurant serving a range of local and international dishes, and games room with a billiards table. A concierge is on hand to offer sightseeing assistance, and practical amenities include a 24 hour front desk with a safe deposit box. The Gran Valira ski area is two kilometres away and boasts 192 kilometres of pistes with 108 runs of varying degrees of difficulty. Barcelona Airport is 250 kilometres away and takes approximately three hours to reach by car.
Gala Dinner:
The hotel will host a gala dinner on December 31, 2007. All guests will be charged for the dinner whether or not they attend. Fees for the dinner will be collected by the hotel at check in.

The airport train station is a short walk from the terminals, via a covered walkway. There are train services from the airport to the city centre every 30 minutes. There is also an Aerobus service to Pla�a de Catalunya every 12 minutes. Taxis are available in front of the airport terminals.
